Challenge Your Kids' Mind While They Are Online

What is GetNoodles?

GetNoodles is an easy-to-use software program that asks kids educational questions whenever they use the computer. Children must answer these questions correctly before resuming their online and other computer activities. Parents can rest easier knowing their kids’ online sessions will be interrupted with learning-related questions – and that they must work for the right to get back to the Internet, e-mail, etc.

How does it work?

GetNoodles intermittently breaks up kids’ online activities with educationally relevant, multiple-choice questions. By answering the questions correctly, the child can return to Web surfing, messaging or other online diversions. The program will continue to prompt the child until the correct answer is entered.

How much control do I have over the program?

Parents can enter custom settings for each child based on age and subject – as many as six children can be covered by one parental account – and how often questions interrupt each child’s online session. In addition to testing kids in basic subjects like English, math and history, GetNoodles tracks each child’s total time online.

Can I change my child’s settings from another computer?

Yes. Go to the GetNoodles website and login. Once you are logged in, parents can change subject, timing and other settings.

Can I turn it off when I’m using the computer?

It’s easy for parents to turn GetNoodles on and off by visiting www.getnoodles.com website.  Just click on the parent login button and it immediately takes you to your settings page. One the settings page, you can turn the program on and off.

Apart from being able to resume their online activities, what incentives does GetNoodles offer kids to get the answers right?

Answering questions correctly earns kids points qualifying them for raffle tickets for prizes such as gift certificates at major retailers. What’s more, every point a child earns is also awarded to the parents, who qualify for their own raffle tickets. GetNoodles pays dividends to the whole family.
